최근에 목회자들이 모이는 곳에 가면 ‘청춘 합창단’에 대한 칭찬과 질문을 많이 받습니다. 많이들 부러워합니다. 오늘 저녁에 필라 한인회가 주관하는 행사에 청춘합창단이 초청받은 것도 같은 이유일 것입니다. 이 섬김이 하나님의 마음에 들기 때문일 것이고, 또 여러 성도들의 수고와 헌신 때문이라고 생각합니다. 마음 깊은 곳에서부터 감사와 격려의 박수를 보냅니다.

지난 7년 간 많은 공연이 있었고, 기억나는 장면들이 많습니다. 저는 그 중에서 손에 꼽히는 두 장면이 있습니다. 한 장면은 두 번째 해이던가요? 합창단에서 제일 나이가 많았던 한 여성 대원이 젊었을 때 입었던 프리마돈나의 연주복을 입고 눈물을 흘리면서 노래했던 적이 있습니다. 그 얼굴에 가득 피어났던 붉은 꽃이 참 아름답다 생각했습니다. 그리고 또 한 장면이 있습니다. 저의 마음에 사진처럼 선명하게 찍혀 있습니다. 몇 년 전에 청춘 합창단이 가까운 귀니드 양로원을 방문하고 함께 예배한 한 적이 있습니다. 낮 시간이어서 많은 분들이 참석하지는 못했습니다. 저는 예배를 인도하고 청춘합창단에서는 특송을 했습니다. 그 중에 한 장로님이 ‘내 마음의 강물’이라는 노래를 불렀습니다.

수많은 날은 떠나갔어도 내 맘의 강물 끝없이 흐르네

그날 그땐 지금 없어도 내 맘의 강물 끝없이 흐르네

새파란 하늘 저 멀리 구름은 두둥실 떠나고

비바람 모진 된서리 지나간 자욱마다 맘 아파도

알알이 맺힌 고운 진주알 아롱아롱 더욱 빛나네

그날 그땐 지금은 없어도 내 맘의 강물 끝없이 흐르네

지난 주에 오랜만에 그 장로님을 만났습니다. 몇 년 전에 있었던 제가 받은 감동에 대해 말씀드렸습니다. 그 장로님은 그 노래에 얽힌 사연을 이야기하셨습니다. 그때 특송을 하던 그 자리에는 장로님의 처형이 앞자리에 앉아 있었습니다. 먼저 하나님의 부르심을 받았던 장로님의 아내, 그 아내를 마치 엄마처럼 키워주었던 처형... 손아래 제부인 자신에게도 정말 많은 사랑을 주셨던 분이라고 했습니다. 늘 다른 사람을 섬기고 사랑하는 일에 최선을 다했던 분인데.... 치매로 양로원에 들어왔고, 자신을 알아보지 못한 채 노래를 듣고 앉아 있는 처형을 보면서 목이 메여 노래를 부를 수 없었노라고 했습니다. 기억을 더듬으며 이런저런 말씀을 하시는 장로님의 눈에 강물이 흘러들었습니다. 촉촉해진 장로님의 두 눈을 보면서 저의 마음에도 다시 강물이 흘렀습니다. 삶의 무게와 노래의 선율이 깊은 강물로 흘러왔습니다. 노래는 목소리로 부르는 것이 아니라 삶으로 부르는 것임을 다시 한번 느꼈습니다.

1. 미안하다 말씀하지 마세요.

제가 전에도 한번 말씀드린 기억이 있습니다만... 저는 가끔 성도들의 말씀을 들으면서 당황할 때가 있습니다. 예를 들면 이런 말입니다. 우리 남장로님께서 자주 하시는 말씀인데.... 우리 늙은이들이 교회에 와서.... 미안하다.... 뭐 이런 말씀을 하십니다. 그러면 연세가 그렇게 드셨는데 교회로 안오면 어디를 가시겠습니까? 실은 얼마 전에 성도 중 한분이 병원에 입원하셨습니다. 심방을 가려고 하는데.... 미안하다고... 자꾸 오지 말라고 하십니다. 그러면 목사는 뭐하라는 말씀입니까? 저도 좀 저의 존재가치를 인정받아야 하지 않겠습니까? 그럴 때 좀 심방도 가고 위로의 말씀도 전하고 함께 기도하면서 아... 이래서 목사가 필요하구나... 이래서 내가 목사가 되었구나... 뭐 이런 생각을 해야되지 않겠습니까? 성도가 아파서 병원에 입원을 했는데... 아픈 것도 서럽고 힘 드실텐데 미안하기까지 하시면... 저는 뭘 하라는 말씀입니까?

물론 왜 그런 말씀을 하시는지 그 마음 잘 압니다. 하지만 다시 한번 성도 여러분 모두에게 부탁드립니다. 그리고 스스로 연세가 있다고 생각하시는 형님, 누님들... 참 열심히 사셨지요? 이미 그 살아온 세월로 충분히 가치 있습니다. 당당하게 아프셔도 됩니다. 목사에게 심방오라고 큰 소리 치셔도 됩니다. 날마다 오라고, 어디 가지 말고 딱~~ 옆에 붙어있으라고 말씀하셔도 됩니다. 물론 저도 형편에 따라 조절할 수 있는 권리는 있습니다.

이 말씀을 드리는 이유는... 우리들의 삶의 가치에 대한 고민에서 왔습니다. 젊었을 때 참 고왔고, 만나는 모든 사람에게 사랑으로 섬겼던 그 장로님의 처형... 더 이상 맑은 의식이 없고, 그렇게 사랑을 주었던 제부를 알아보지도 못합니다. 그렇다면 그 처형의 삶의 가치는 이제 사라지고 없는 것일까요? 젊고 힘 있어서 일을 잘하고 관계가 넓고 성공하고 성취하면 가치 있는 인생이 되고, 평생 땅 한 평 소유하지 못하고 나이 들어서 까지 매일 일해야 한다면 가치 없는 인생이 되는 것일까요? 육신이 아프면, 마음에 병이 들면, 정신적이 문제가 생기면 인생의 무게가 가벼워지는 것일까요? 같은 미국 국민인데 백인 중산층과 흑인과 인디언 원주민의 생명의 가치가 다를까요? 하나님께서 지으신 같은 세상을 살고 있는데 초강대국 미국 시민의 생명의 가치와 거친 바다를 떠돌면서 생명을 구걸하는 난민들의 생명의 가치가 다를까요? 나의 생명의 가치와 이웃의 생명의 가치는 다를까요?

2. 인생의 가치는 어디에 있을까요?

성경은 단호하게 그렇지 않다고 말합니다. 하나님은 사람을 지으셨고, 모든 사람에게 하나님의 형상을 허락하셨습니다. 믿기만 하면 모든 사람에게 구원의 은혜를 허락하십니다. 우리는 모두 하나님의 자녀가 되고 그 나라의 백성이 됩니다. 차별이 없습니다.

오늘 본문의 말씀을 봅시다. 사실 알고 보면 사람만큼 사람의 가치를 무시하는 존재가 없습니다. 효용성으로 평가하고 숫자로 판단합니다. 성경도 사람과 사람의 차별이 당연시되던 시대에 기록되었습니다. 그런데 오늘 말씀에서 예수님은 그 시대의 상식에 대해 도전하십니다. 우리는 어린 아이를 중간에 두고 예수님과 제자들이 다른 의견으로 대립했던 한 사건을 알고 있습니다. 누가복음 18장에서 사람들이 자기 자녀들을 데리고 예수님께 나옵니다. “사람들이 예수께서 만져 주심을 바라고 자기 어린 아기를 데리고 오매 제자들이 보고 꾸짖거늘”(눅 18:15) 제가 어릴 적만 해도 동네 시장에 야바위꾼들이 많았습니다. 그들이 사람들을 모아놓고는 제일 먼저 하는 말이 있습니다. “애들은 가라!” 약간을 걸걸하고 깔린 목소리로 우리들을 째려보면서 그렇게 말하면 슬금슬금 뒷자리로 빠져나가곤 했습니다. 왜 애들은 가라고 했을까요? 돈이 안되니까요... 가끔씩 교인들의 수를 묻는 사람들이 있습니다. 수에 관심이 많을수록 꼭 덧붙여서 말합니다. 애들 빼고... 어른들 몇 명 모여요? 어쩌면 교회가 더 관심을 가져야 할 것은 이 교회에서 자라고 있는 어린 생명들인데, 애들은 빼고 숫자를 묻는 이유는 무엇일까요? 역시 효용성으로 사람을 판단하기 때문에 그렇습니다. 지금 부모들이 예수님 앞에 아이들을 데리고 나오고 있습니다. 예수님 앞에 아이들이 나온다는 것.... 당연히 좋은 일입니다. 그들은 자신의 자녀들을 예수님이 만져주시기를 바랬다고 했습니다. 더 좋은 일입니다. 그런데 제자들이 목소리를 깔고 말합니다. “애들은 가라!” 그러니까 교회가 기업이 되었다는 말을 듣는 것입니다. 예수님은 제자들을 꾸짖으시고 이렇게 말씀합니다. “예수께서 그 어린 아이들을 불러 가까이 하시고 이르시되 어린 아이들이 내게 오는 것을 용납하고 금하지 말라 하나님의 나라가 이런 자의 것이니라 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 하나님의 나라를 어린 아이와 같이 받아들이지 않는 자는 결단코 거기 들어가지 못하리라 하시니라”(눅 18:16-17)

오늘 본문인 마태복음 18장도 이런 상황과 비슷합니다. 제자들이 예수님께 묻습니다. “천국에서 누가 더 큰 사람입니까?” 그들 마음에 있는 가치를 드러내는 질문입니다. 예수님께서 그들의 의도를 아십니다. 그들의 마음에 견고하게 자리 잡은 가치의 질서를 아십니다. 예수님은 한 어린 아이를 그들 앞에 데려오십니다. 그리고 가치의 질서를 바꾸라고 명령하십니다. 3절에서 ‘너희가 돌이켜...’라는 말로 표현되었습니다. 예수님은 제자들에게 세 가지를 말씀하십니다. “너희가 천국에 대해서 관심이 있느냐? 첫째, 천국은 어린 아이들의 것이다. 이 땅에서의 능력이나 자격과 관계가 없다. 둘째, 그러므로 어린 아이와 같이 겸손해야 한다. 이 땅에서의 작은 능력과 소유로 하나님의 나라에서의 교만을 사려는 어리석음을 범하지 말라. 셋째, 세상의 가치로 사람을 판단하지 말라. 세상의 가치로 연약한 사람들을 상처주고 실족시키지 말라. 예수님을 대하듯 이웃을 섬기라. ”

3. 참된 가치는 하늘에 있습니다.

예수님과 그들의 생각의 차이는 무엇일까요? 사람의 가치를 무엇으로 평가하는가에 있습니다. 제자들이 끊임없이 천국에서 누가 더 높은 자리, 큰 자리에 앉는지를 예수님께 질문하는 이유가 무엇입니까? 그들은 이 땅의 가치관으로 하나님의 나라를 소원하고 있습니다. 참으로 바보스러운 것은 이 땅의 가치관으로 그들의 평가하면 그들은 갈릴리의 어부이고 세리입니다. 바리새인, 서기관, 제사장들에게 손가락질 당하고 무시당하는 사람들일 뿐입니다. 그런데 그들이 더 높고 크고 많은 것을 소원합니다. 그들이 이 땅에서 이루지 못한 소원을 하나님의 나라에서 이루거 싶습니다. 하나님의 나라에 대한 완벽한 오해입니다. 이 땅의 가치관이 하나님의 나라를 침범하도록 허락하는 것입니다. 하나님의 나라가 이 땅에 임하고 우리가 하나님의 나라의 삶을 이 땅에서 살아야하는 것인데.... 이 땅에서 이루지 못한 소원을 하나님의 나라에서 이루려는 것은 이 땅의 삶을 하나님의 나라에서까지 연장하려는 것과 같습니다. 율법사들이 예수님께 질문합니다. 일곱 형제가 있었는데 형들이 차례로 죽고 동생들이 형수를 차례로 책임집니다. 그런데 막내 동생까지 결국 죽고 말았습니다. 천국에서 이 형수는 누구의 아내입니까? 예수님을 곤경에 빠뜨리기 위한 질문이었습니다. 예수님의 대답은 무엇입니까? “너희가 성경도, 하나님의 능력도 알지 못하는 고로 오해하였도다”(마 22:29)

성도 여러분! 하나님의 죄와 악에서 회복하시는 은혜를 깨닫지 못하면 우리는 들에 마른 풀과 같고 흩날리는 먼지와 같습니다. 하나님의 은혜를 깨달을 때... 우리는 하나님의 형상으로 지으심을 받았고, 십자가의 은혜로 그 형상이 회복된.... 천하보다 귀한 한 생명으로 변화됩니다. 이 땅에서 내가 무엇인가 대단한 삶을 살아서 가치있는 존재가 되는 것이 아니라, 하늘의 은혜가 땅에 임했기 때문에... 하늘의 가치가 구원받은 내게 적용되기 때문입니다. 그래서 구원의 은혜를 깨달을 때 이 세상의 모든 자랑을 배설물로 여기고 하나님 나라의 영광을 위해 내 삶을 헌신합니다. 그래서 십자가는 세상 사람들이 보기에 가장 어리석고 무모한 것인데, 구원받은 하나님의 자녀들에게는 은혜이자 능력이 되고, 자랑과 영광이 됩니다. 참된 가치는 하늘에서 이 땅에 임하는 것입니다. 우리의 생각, 가치, 우리 삶의 지향과 목적이 하늘에 뿌리내린 것인지 고민해야 합니다. 우리가 하늘의 가치의 질서대로 살고 있는지 고민해야 합니다.

저 안에 태풍 몇 개

저 안에 천둥 몇 개

저 안에 벼락 몇 개

저게 저 혼자 둥글어질 리는 없다

저 안에 무서리 내리는 몇 밤

저 안에 땡볕 두어 달

저 안에 초승달 몇 낱

시인은 가을날 붉게 익은 대추알을 보고 있습니다. 대추 한 알 속에서 태풍을 느끼고 천둥과 벼락을 느낍니다. 보면서 그 대추가 익어가는 과정에 있었던 지난 여름의 태풍과 천둥과 번개를 함께 느끼고 있었습니다. 무서리와 땡볕과 초승달을 함께 보고 있습니다. 저는 이 시가 우리 청춘 합창단과 닮았다고 생각했습니다. 이제 60년, 70년을 살다보니 태풍도 많았고, 천둥도 많았고, 번개 번쩍이는 삶도 살았습니다. 무서리도 있었고 땡볕도 있었고 초승달도 있습니다. 그 세월로 노래합니다. 강물처럼 깊고 가을처럼 붉게 노래합니다. 지나온 삶에 불었던 태풍의 흔적과 벼락과 번개의 흔적들이 노래에 함께 있습니다. 노래에 서리 내리는 긴 밤이 있고, 뜨거운 땡볕이 있고, 눈물 어린 초승달도 있습니다.

그래서 저는 시인의 시선이 우리를 보시는 하나님의 시선과 닮았다고 생각합니다. 하나님은 우리의 한 순간으로 평가하지 않으십니다. 하나님에게 있어서 시간은 통시적이라는 사실을 기억하시면 좋겠습니다. 우리의 현재와 과거와 미래가 하나님 앞에 함께 있습니다. 하나님은 우리의 모든 삶을 통찰하십니다. 우리의 보잘 것 없는 시간, 과거와 현재와 미래에 하나님의 사랑과 은혜를 기름 부으십니다. 우리를 하나님의 나라의 백성으로 삼으셔서 그 나라를 상속하십니다. 세상은 우리를 땅에 뒹구는 ‘대추 한 알’에 불과하다 말하지만, 하나님은 우리를 새롭게 하시고 자녀 삼으셔서 아들아, 딸아... 불러주십니다. 우리는 창조주이자 구원자이신 하나님 앞에서 참 가치 있는 존재들입니다. 그 누구도 우리의 현재의 존재에 대해 미안하지 않습니다.

나는 하나님 안에서 누구입니까? 자신의 가치를 하나님 안에서 확인하고 그 가치대로 허락하신 시간을 살아가는 우리들이 되기를 소망합니다. 하나님 안에서 서로의 가치를 인정하고 존중하는 사귐이 있기를 소망합니다. 하나님이 허락하신 우리의 가치가 이땅에서 하나님의 나라로 꽃 필 것입니다.

Title: Missionary Church - 31. Typical Church member's Value

Recently,at meetings where pastors gather, there are lots of compliments and questions about the "Youth Choir". There are many people who admire. That's why the Youth Choir was invited again to the event hosted by the Pillar Korean Society this evening. This kind of services and events, God is happy to see. This can result only from everyone's hard work and dedication. I applaud the appreciation and encouragement from the bottom of my heart.

There have been many performances over the last seven years, and there are many memorable scenes. There are two memories I cannot forget. First memory was during the second year the Choir established. One of the oldest female members of the choir sang in tears and wore a precious Madonna's costume that she wore when she was young. I thought that the red flower bloomed on her face and was beautiful. And there is another memory. I can still picture the moment in my heart. A few years ago, Youth Choir visited nearby Gwynedd Nursing Home. It was during daytime, and many people could not attend. I lead the worship and the Youth Choir sang. One of the member, he was a deacon sang a song called "The River of My Heart".

Many days have gone, but the river of my heart flows endlessly

Blue sky, clouds are far away from clouds

The weather is raging everywhere

The beautiful pearl shining endlessly

Even then, the river of my heart flows endlessly

I recently met him, who I have not seen him for awhile. I talked about the impressions I received from that visit to the nursing home. The deacon told the story and reason for that song. At that time, deacon's elder sister in law was sitting in the front row listening to his singing. She is deacon's passed away wife's sister. She was like a mother to deacon's wife. She had given so much love to his wife and to him. She was always serving others, sacrificing and sharing love...but came to nursing home with dementia. She was sitting there not recognizing the brother in law and listening to his singing. During his story, I could see tears of River in his eyes. As I saw his watery eyes, I had River of sympathy in my heart. The weight of life and the melody of the song have flowed into the deep river. I once again felt that singing is thru life and not voice.

1.Do Not Say Sorry

I remember saying this before...I sometimes get upset when I hear my church members say such things. For example, Mr.Nam Deacon often says.... I am sorry...because elderly like me attend church... Then elders should not attend church and should go where? Also, one of our church member was hospitalized. I was planning on visiting... but he said... sorry...please do not come. Then what does the pastor do? Should I not be recognized for my existence value? At those time, visit, share words, sympathize and pray together... and feel my existence as a pastor....reason I became a pastor...Shouldn't I feel my existence is needed? A church member is hospitalized...is probably going thru hard time...but feel sorry? What am I supposed to do?

Of course I know why church members say such thing. But once again, I would like to ask all of you. And brothers and sisters who individually think they are elders...you lived really hard. You lived well worth years of value. You can be sick. You can shout at pastor to come visit them. You can tell me to come everyday and stay put~ right next to you. Of course, I have the right to adjust according to circumstances.

The reason for this is that...we came from a worrying about the value of our lives. The sister in law at the nursing home, who was once young, who gave love and served others...no longer has clear memories, does not recognize beloved brother in law. But then, does that mean the sister in law no longer has value of life? If you are young and strong, work well, have a wide relationship, and be successful then you achieve a worthy life. And without any property and work hard till you age and still work everyday then your life is worthless? If the body is sick, soul is sick or mentally sick, will your weight of life become lighter? All same American people, white middle class, African American, Native American, do their value of life all differ? We live in the same world that God created, but the American citizens' value of life and the refugees seeking for normal life, their value of life, do they differ? Is the value of my life different from the value of my neighbor's life?

2.Where is the Value of Life?

The Bible firmly says that it is not. God created man, and gave the image of God to all men. If you believe, you grant grace of salvation to all. We are all children of God and people of the nation. There is no discrimination.

Let us look at today's scripture. In fact, there is no one that ignores the value of people as much as a person. People evaluate by effectiveness and judges by number. The Bible was also recorded in an age when discrimination between man to man was normal. But in today's scripture reading, Jesus challenges the common sense of the day. We know of a case in which Jesus and his disciples confronted with different opinion about a child. In Luke chapter 18, people bring their children to Jesus.

“"사람들이예수께서만져주심을바라고자기어린아기를데리고오매제자들이보고꾸짖거늘”"(눅18:15)

"People were also bringing babies to Jesus to have him touch them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them." (Luke 18:15)

When I was a child, there were many slickers in the neighborhood market. The first thing they say is when they gather people together, "Go away Children!". They would stare at children with a little squeaky voice and I would step back. Why did they tell children to go away? Because they do not have money... Often I have people ask me number of congregation. For those who specifically interested in number, ask in such way..without kids.. how many adults in congregation? Maybe the church should be more interested in the young lives that are growing with-in the church, but why ask numbers except for the children? Of course, it is because people judge by effectiveness. The parents are bringing their children out before Jesus. It is a good thing that children come out in front of Jesus. They said that they wanted their children to be touched by Jesus. Even better. But then the disciples lay down their voices and speak, "Go away Children!" Hence why the church are told that the church has become a corporation. Jesus rebuked his disciples and said:

“"예수께서그어린아이들을불러가까이하시고이르시되어린아이들이내게오는것을용납하고금하지말라하나님의나라가이런자의것이니라내가진실로너희에게이르노니누구든지하나님의나라를어린아이와같이받아들이지않는자는결단코거기들어가지못하리라하시니라”"(눅18:16-17)

"But Jesus called the children to him and said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." (Luke 18:16-17)

In today's scripture, Matthew chapter 18, is similar to this situation. The disciples ask Jesus. "Who is the greater on in heaven?" Is a question that reveals the value in their hearts. Jesus knows their intentions. Jesus knows the order of the value that is firmly established in their hearts. Jesus brings a little child before them. And orders disciples to change the order of values. In verse 3, it was expressed in the words, 'You change....." Jesus tells his disciples three things. "Are you interested in heaven? First, heaven is of children. It has nothing to do with the ability or qualification in the land. Second, therefore, we must be humble as a child. Do not commit folly to buy pride in the kingdom of God with little power and possessions on earth. Third, do not judge a person by the value of the world. Do not let the world's values hurt and offend those who are frail. Treat your neighbor as you treat Jesus."

3.True Worth is in Heaven

What is the difference between Jesus and their thoughts? It is in what evaluates the value of a person. Why do disciples constantly ask Jesus who sits higher or is greater in heaven? They desire the kingdom of God with the values of this land. What is so silly is that they are just a fishermen and tax collectors of Galilee when judged by the values of this land. They are just people pointed at and ignored at by the Pharisee, scribe and priests. But they desire higher, better and want more. They want to fulfill the wishes they have not made in this land in the kingdom of God. It is a perfect misunderstanding of the kingdom of God. It is to allow the values of this earth to invade the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is on this earth, and we must live the life of the kingdom of God in this land. But rather, we try to fulfill the desire that is not fulfilled on earth and extend and continue to fulfill into the kingdom of God. The lawyers asked Jesus. There were seven brothers, who died one after another, only youngest brother remaining and took charge of their wives. But then the youngest brother eventually died. In heaven, who's wife is the sister in law? It was a question to put Jesus in trouble. What is Jesus' answer?

“"너희가성경도, 하나님의능력도알지못하는고로오해하였도다”"(마22:29)

" Jesus replied, You are in error because you do not knkow the Scriptures or the power of God" (Matthew 22:29)

Congregation! If we do not understand the sins of God and the grace that restores us from evil, we are like a dry grass in the fields and like a floating dust. When we realize the grace of God....we are created in the image of God and transformed into a life that is more precious than the restored image of the grace of the Cross. It is not about who I am and to live a great life and find the worthy on earth. But because the grace of Heaven has come to earth...the value of heaven is applied to me. Therefore, when realize the grace of salvation, and regard all the pride of this world as a waste and you should devote your life to the glory of the kingdom of God. So the cross is the most foolish and reckless of the world's people, and it is grace, power, pride, and glory for the children of God who are saved. True value comes from heaven on earth. We have to worry about whether our thoughts, values, our life's purpose and purpose are rooted in heaven. We have to worry about whether we live according to the order of heavenly values.

There is a poem titled 'One Jujube portion" by Chang Sukju. (picture 1)

"I cannot be self-destructed/ there are a few typhoons in there / there are a few thunderstorms in there / there are a few lightning in there/ I cannot become circular alone/ a few scared nights in there/ a few sunshine months in there/ a few crescent moon days in there"

The poet sees the jujube blossom reddish in autumn. Expresses the feelings of typhoons, thunderstorms, and lightning in the jujube blossom. It talks about the process of ripening thru summer season's of typhoons, thunderstorms, and lightnings. Also the scared nights, sun-shining months, and crescent moon days. I thought this poem resembled our Youth Choir. People who lived 60 years, 70 years, had many typhoons, many thunderstorms, and a life of flashing lightning. There were also scared nights, sun-shining times, crescent days. Sing those years. Sing deep like rivers, like reddish autumn. The traces of typhoons and the signs of thunderstorm and lightning, which were blown into the past life, are accompanied by songs. There is a long night of frost, hot sunshine, and a tearful new moon in the song.

So I think that the poet's gaze resembles the gaze of God who sees us. God does not evaluate us as a moment. Remember that time for God is a routine. Our present, past, and future are with God. God inspects all our lives. Our insignificant time​, anoints the love and grace of God in the past, present and future. He has made us a people of God's kingdom and inherits the kingdom. The world thinks us nothing but a 'jujube blossom', but God renews us and makes us his sons and daughters...we are worthy beings before God, our Creator and Savior. No one is sorry for our present existence.

Who am I before God? I hope that we will be able to identify our values in God and live within the values in given time. Also, I hope to have fellowships that recognizes and respects each other's values in God. Our values that God has given us will bloom like a flower from heaven on earth.
